BOXING IS -- WHAT'S THAT EXPRESSION ??
The "BOMB". Boxing is the bomb!
From as far back as I can remember , I grew up faithfully watching boxing with my Father. It was to say the least, a weekly ritual and I grew to love it. But it all came to a hault around the age of 14 when my parents divorced. You know the scenario, Mother and Sister liked to watch the the same thing , so O.k. and when I was older it was still the same. Who ever I lived with or who ever lived with me, it was "O.K.,what ever you want". Until one day I accidentally happened upon a boxing match on "HBO" and was elated. Who knew --Da--not this idiot. Anyway the bug came back and I wanted more.
I mentioned it to someone who gave me the name of a site that when I went to gave me the schedules for all of the up coming fights that would be coming to HBO in the future. To him I'ed like so say "Thank YOU!!" I am eternally greatful.
I had a wonderful time last saturday night watching boxing. Of course I've been away from it for so long that I don't know any of them so I'll just have to bone up. But for those of you who are Joval fans, (like I said first time I've seen him) but he didn't show me much that night. Did you see that first gut punch Vargas landed just a little to the left side. Looked to me like Joval couldn't take a gut punch at all???? As for the Morales and Pacquiao fight, well I enjoyed it. I know now you think I'm a blood monger -no- I just like action. I'ed like to see some more of them both. I have to give credit to Pacquiao for hanging in there even tho I really don't think he could see much of anything. I never did see the dreaded punch Pacquiao was suppose to have. Maybe next time.
So now that I have found my "niche" again, I have made it quite clear to all ---Boxing night is my night. Do not hand me the phone and DON'T TOUCH THAT CHANNEL !!

Lol, we would get along famously on a Sat night. I love HBO fights! Unfortunately I missed last weekends matchups. If like to see the extra brutal side of boxing and witness the blood flow, check out "Thunder" Gatti fight. He cuts sooo easy it's ridiculous. Good fighter but man does his face take a beating - win or lose.
Sorry I deleted above - too many typos. Reading it back didn't make sense even to me. :P
Ah a booboo on a comment doesn't bother me. neither does brutality or blood.
But I think the Gatti fight is ppv and that bothers me, my budget is hurting already. Will see. But you can bet I'll be there on the 9th.
Can you explain something for me? I mean I understood what they were talking about but I've never heard of it before. Morales & Pacquiao agreed to different gloves I think Asian gloves. I didn't think you could use anything but regulation boxing gloves in the U.S. I guess I've really been gone to long??
By the way as for getting along famously, I think your right. I read your post a while back about getting to relax one weekend. Well guess what I love (not just like), motorcycles too.
Are you sure I'm not your real Grandmother. LOL
same as me and american idol!!!
You very well may be my long lost Grandmother. My Grandma is the complete opposite of me. I don't think there is anything we agree on.
You like boxing and motorcycles? WOW! I think I'm in love - just kidding. ;)
I have a Ducati 999R if you know what those bikes are. You don't ride a motorcycle do you?
Never "Driven one" Ride on the back -- Oh yes every chance I got. Big black Honda with a sissy bar so I could just lay back and lean into the turns. Nothing like it in the world. Miss it too. But that was in CA. You almost never see a motorcycle where I live now, but when I do I just want to run over and ask for a ride.
Now lets see, you can't expect to much from an old lady , this is all I know about yours.
Ducati 999R,hmmm--street bike, also used in racing. (Good racing bike)
Very expensive.
Italian made. About $7000 or so more then the "999S", mostly because of it's V-twin engine.
Ducati 999R , good looking streamline , speed bike---Sweet!
Wow, you are impressing me. How do you know so much about bikes and boxing? It's odd to find that in any women period, let alone my long lost Grandmother! ;)
I love the Italian styling and design when it comes to speed bikes and sports cars. Nothing compares to it as far as I'm concerned. My bike is black and silver. Red is my favorite color, but I thought I would go with something dark because I don't need the cops paying any more attention to speeds bikes than they already do - red sticks out.
I use to have a Kawasaki Ninja bike - nice ride too, but not nearly as fast as the new Ducati and since I am a speed junkie...I get a good fix from it.
Perfect riding weather out here the last few days. 70s and all sun! So I'm taking lots of long rides home.
I like to learn about things and you picked the two things I like most. I used to race my husband on the freeway when I was young and crazy. We'd switch cars he liked the T-bird because it was so pretty & I liked the old Pontiac because it would hit 120. lol I always won.
Red looks good alright, but I would'nt buy anything red with wheels on it. Studys show that red is picked more then any other color for tickets. Opps I did have a red & white Duelly once.
Germany!!!! Diamnond....come on you can do better than that... someone was reading over my shoulder as I was writing this to you and warned me that I better not give any hints away..*frown* sorry..... but try again you get it eventually.
opps sorry I misspelled Diamond *blushes* its been a long two days at work thank God it is finally my long weekend to sleep!!!!!!
Yes exseno, it is Ok to make your own pudding and put it in the mix. It works great! that's what i do! ENJOY!
Too late for the "don't buy anything red with wheels on it" advice. I already have a red car and like you, I've heard how statistics show red gets pulled over more. I have a story on that, but I won't bore you with the details.
So far I've guessed Italy, France and Germany...how about I guess England? Of course I don't know many English boxers, so that is probably a wrong guess.
Red does stand out so nice. I have a story too. My Mother had a red car a long time a go. She got pulled over on the freeway for of all things ( I'm so ashamed) for going to slow. lol
Sorry not England, but europe is a big place. Want to guess again--or do you want to give up------ do you give up????????
I'm sorry your mother got pulled over and don't take this the wrong way, but in a way I'm kind of glad because extra slow drivers can be just as dangerous on the road to other traffic as those who speed. Like when you try to merge with cars going 65+ and you only go 40 and expect to not cause a problem merging. That is dangerous! It causes a chain reaction of brakes being slammed on to avoid the new/slow car and people switching lanes too quickly to avoid dropping their speed below 40 just to drive behind them.
Yeah, I think I am going to have to throw in the towel when it comes to where you are from. You got me, I give up.
I'm sure it will !! Thank you.
