Hi, Nick welcome back, O.K. now I feel stupid. But it was still very interesting.
HI!!! I am posting my banana bread recipe to your comments because, truthfully, I am too lazy to log into my blog and do it there!!!
So here, we go:
Chocolate Chip banana bread
2 cups sugar
2 cups mashed ripe banana (OR you could also use 2 cups canned pumpkin if you want pumpkin bread)
1/2 cup canola oil (I use 1 stick melted lite margarine for less fat)
1/2 cup fat free vanilla pudding (actual pudding, not just the mix)
4 large egg whites
3 cups flour (I use 2 cups white, i cup wheat for extra fiber!)
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1-1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease/spray 2 loaf pans
2. Mix first 5 ingredients, then add dry ingredients. Mix in choclate chips
3. Spoon into 2 loaf pans, cook 1 hr 15 minutes or until done
4. Cool on wire rack and share with friends. It makes ALOT

Yeah I know women find it sexy if a guy can cook, cook for them. I have cooked for women before and the majority of the time the date itself turned out better than the dish I make. :/
I'm going to stop talking now so I don't go off rambling about a tale and embarrass myself. I'll just say that I am willing to learn to cook. I can do all the other stuff like cleaning, wash and even ironing. Impressed at all? Probably not, but hoping you are noding your head yes even if it's just to be polite. So I'm not hopeless, but I am "cooking challenged". I'll need a sympathetic and patient woman to guide me thru it. She can laugh at me because I know I'm pathetic for barely knowing how to cook. On a plus side...restaurants, pizza joints and take out would go out of business without me. ;)
If you want to hear something funny, I've been told a crock pot just about the easiest fool proof method to preparing a meal. Well I have had a crock pot for about 3-4 years now and I have only used it once! So yes I am not Martha Stewart...at least not yet. Maybe one day I will actually use all those fancy/shiny pots and pans hanging around my kitchen for "pretty" = collecting dust.
