LEAVE IT TO LENO !
Even if I don't really have anything important to do, I still go on the net every day and check my mail and the news etc. Today I did the same and what do I see on my Today player -- Jay Leno with a limo behind him and fake security guards all around him, dressed in his pj's mimicking Michael Jackson.
It is my understanding that he had to get approval from a judge before he could do it. Leave it to Leno. God I love him!

Yeah he's good at beating the system and manages to get his jokes in. I like that. Of course I am more of a Letterman fan myself, but I can appreciate the extra effort by Leno in this case.

What do you mean you can't find him? You mean you don't know what station he is on or what time? I'm not sure where you live, but he is on CBS here (which should apply all over the US) and he is aired at the same time as Leno which is 11:30PM for me.
Oh yes -- I remember CBS, that's where he went. I used to watch it. That was long ago when I lived in a civilized area (ha ha ). Reception here is very poor. Now I only get ch. 10, but I do have DIRECTV -- does that help??
I feel your pain having to watch fuzzy stations. I grew up on the "rabbit ears" - sad I know. We lived in remote location and it wasn't until I was a teen that my parents finally gave in and got satellite TV. The real kicker was by the time they got it, cable was then offered to our house that same week. I guess they just didn't have enough people to make it worth the company's while to offer it before.
I have DirecTV with TIVO. So as long as you are subscribed to "local channels" with DirecTV, you can watch Letterman and of course get all your local channels in digital clarity.
It's annoying that DirecTV doesn't give you the local channels WITH your basic package. I guess it's their way of making an extra $6 a month of you (or at least that is what it cost me to add locals).
I don't have the basic I have total choice. So I guess getting the local channels are another extra huh?
