WHO WILL IT BE

Unless there is some miraculous new discovery I think that we all have heard pretty much all that these two candidates for President have to say and most of us have probably decided on who we are going to vote for. Some of you may have already voted, if that is available in your state.

We do have early voting in the state that I live in, so I will probably sachet my little self to the courthouse a little early and cast my big vote. Then I'm going to go home and pray that I have made the right decision.

I wouldn't dream of putting any of you on the spot by asking you who you are/or have voted for.

But here is what I think.

Frankly in spite of the polls that have been taken, I think it's a toss up.

Until the votes have all been counted,(if they are all counted), I don't think that we, the people can be sure of anything.

So I pose this question to you. When it's all said and done, who do you think we will be calling 'Mr. President'? I know who I will vote for but who will win,

I haven't a clue.

Me too hope that you have voted for the right person. But as you say, 'right' is such a subjective perspective. One man's right is other man's left, hehehe, just playing with words.
American politics affects us too, so i m just rambling on till the results are declared.
May the best one prevail.

Mampi,
Of course it affect you too. It affects us all.
Sometimes I think when it comes to politics the best man is the one with the most money to run his campaign.

I have no doubt, whoever you voted for is the right choice for you.

For me, the right choice next Tuesday is Obama.

The T-Dude,
Yes it is the right choice for me. I have to vote for Obama.
I haven't voted yet I'll be going to vote Thursday or Friday. I don't want to stand in line for hours on Tuesday.
But I don't expect him to perform miracles. We are in a terrible mess and no one can fix it over night.

Exseno....we desperately need the right man at the helm of affairs in your country in this unipolar world.

Like Mampi me and many others are sitting here with our fingers crossed and hoping nay praying that the practical man wins...and after winning his heart continues to be in the right place.

Pinku,
Tell me if you could vote here who would you vote for? I would love to know your opinion.

For myself, I will vote and pray that I have made the right decision.
But in all fairness, the best person in the world is not going to be able to fix the mess that has been made here in a short time. It's going to be hard.

Well, if it had been Hillary, I would have voted for her. She has what we in Punjab call, Jigra-patience and courage. But yes, now the choice is obviously Obama-he sounds more sensible.

Mampi,
Hands down, if it were Hillary I would have already voted early.
You must have seen my answer to T-Dude. I am hoping that Obama will take advise from the Clinton's, he can learn a lot from them.
I don't care about Clinton's little affair, it was wrong yes, but that should have been his personal business, still he was a good President. The Clinton's are both very politically intelligent.

Exseno....isn't the answer obvious I would of course vote for the Hanuman protected, muslim lineage Obama...

Not joking about the religious background...I am hoping in this highly mixed world a man like him who can understand multiple point of views and empathize with the same will be able to make a difference.

I do agree with you its a huge uphill task and it wont be a wand weilding miracle that he can perform.

Exseno First time here, couldn't resist giving my point of view, I would have also chosen Hillary if there was such a choice, and now if I could vote, it would be Obama no doubt...as to who will win, I hope Obama, but one has seen anything can happen when the results are declared.

Indian Home Maker,
You are very right, no matter who it looks like will win, we never know until the votes are over and all counted. Until then it's a tossup.

Thank you so much for visiting and stating you views. Good to have you here.
