IT'S TIME TO SAY---

Good Morning Mr. President.

By now we all know that Barack Obama is our new President of these United States America and people are celebrating everywhere.

Not just in the United States but people are celebrating around the world as well.
This morning I saw a video of our US soldiers in Afghanistan cheering for Obama when they got the news.
They are celebrating in Kenya, and if I had not been a blogger I would not have known that some of my blogger friends in India were also hoping that Obama would win.

Now, we all know that he has won.
Let us all pray that we have made the right decision and that he will make us proud.

Yet at the same time let us not expect miracles from a human being. He can not walk on water and he has a hard road ahead to deal with.

There has been many mistakes made in the past and many fences to mend.

Frankly even if I were smart enough to run for president, I wouldn't want to step into taking over during some of the worse times that I have seen in my life time.

Life Of An Emt,
I think he'll do his best, but I think he would do well to listen to others that have more experience. He has a lot to learn.

exseno, funny how similar our posts were for the day :) I thought it amazing how the whole world was crossing fingers for him, not just Americans, but all nationalities. America is too powerful to not care about who the person sits in its presidential seat. Any changes and decisions made on your side of the pond resonate and influence our lives and economy over in Europe too. This election was a totally global matter and I'm grateful for the American voters to vote wisely.

This was one of the most heated yet exciting campaigns I have ever seen, it's been exiting for sure.
I'm afraid that a lot of people will expect Obama to perform miracles and it's going to take some time to try to fix this mess. We've alienated a lot of people in a lot of places since Bush.

Obama has infused life into an apathetic nation and that's cause enough for the American people to feel upbeat. It can only get better from where we are at...

Id it is,
I wonder how long it will take before things start getting better.

Obama is talking over at a time where things are so bad and people are so disparate they are going to want action right away.
But I do believe that he is going to do his best as quickly as possible to show the public something/anything that he meant what he said.

"Let us all pay that we have made the right decision..." Was that a Freudian slip?
I know there a lot of Obama lovers here so I won't say more :)

Shannon,
Ha ha, no it wasn't a Freudian slip It was a simple mistake didn't even notice it. Thank you I corrected it.

You can say anything you want to on my site Shannon, I appreciate all comments they don't always have to be in my favor. You are a good blogger friend and I love going to your site. You make me wish I lived in New England.

Shannon,
I hope you didn't think I was being sarcastic. I really meant 'Thank You'. I was grateful. I make so many mistakes when I write and I'm so 'NOT' observant that they get right by me. Then I really feel like a jerk after a bunch of people have read my post.

I was just trying to be clever. If you left it, it would help my case :) Not at all a critique. Just a funny mistype that works to my (political) opinion advantage. I type horribly. That's all. Sorry, if I sounded any other way! I don't know what I would do without Word correcting my spelling and grammar!
