ANOTHER NEW FIND AWESOME

There have been two new marine discoveries . They have named them Opallionectes and Umoonasaurus.
This is a drawing of the Umoonasaurus. They are suppose to have lived some 115 million years ago.
They belonged to a group of animals called plesiosaurs, long-necked marine reptiles. Both creatures lived in a freezing polar sea that covered what is now Australia.

The Umoonasaurus is being compared to the"killer whale equivalent of the Jurassic" period. It is of relatively small size, less than 8 feet long with three crest-like ridges on its skull.

The Opallionectes was much larger, about 19 feet long with masses of fine, needle-like teeth for trapping small fish and squid.

The Australian scientists identified these two new species of ancient marine reptiles, as similar to the mythical Loch Ness monster.

Oh joy, oh joy, for a believer like me who has always believed that such things as the 'Loch Ness monster', and aliens could possible exist, I love to hear them describe this new find, as similar to the mythical Loch Ness monster. I wonder how 'mythical' the Loch Ness really is?

In the past scientist have focused more on land creatures like the dinosaurs, finally they are exploring the seas and have recently discovered several new finds which I post on when I am lucky enough to run across one.

ZIGGY STRIKES AGAIN

I'm not a really big cartoon fan. But the author of the cartoon 'Ziggy' comes up with some pretty profound statements. I find myself looking forward to what words of wisdom he will come up with.
I love this one. Today Ziggy was sitting on a hill with his bird and dog watching the sun set and he said,

" We should appreciate

The HERE and NOW!

'CAUSE it's only HERE NOW !! "

How many of us take the time to STOP and appreciate the HERE and NOW?

It takes very little time.

PONDERING

I ponder, I wonder, to understand,

The mystic, deceit, in the lust of man.

The greed and anger, the degradation,

The terrible hurt of segregation.

Help me, help me, to understand,

To ponder the mind, of a prejudice man.

I FOUND A INDIAN PROPHECY, WOW

I was just browsing and fell upon this awesome prophesy. No it's not a prophesy from the famous Nostradamus. As I understand it Nostradamus predictions had to be translated and the type of language that he used was so difficult to translate that it was difficult for the translators to be sure of what he was saying and although we all know that many of his predictions came true, it is my understanding that many times we didn't know they were his predictions until they actually happened. Only after the fact they could say this is what he meant.

What I found was the 'Native American - Indian Prophecy'. A beautifully written, easy to understand read. Something I think everyone should take the time to read.

Let me share a little of this with you I hope it will entice you to read it all.

From Lee Brown, Cherokee (Excerpts from a talk at the 1986 Continental Indigenous Council, Fairbanks, Alaska

"At the beginning of this cycle of time, long ago, the Great Spirit made an appearance and gathered the peoples of this earth together, and said to the human beings, "I'm going to send you to four directions, and over time I'm going to change you to four colors, but I'm going to give you some teachings, and you will call these the Original Teachings; when you come back together with each other, you will share these so that you can live and have peace on earth, and a great civilization will come about. "

Then he changed our colors, red people, yellow people, Black and white people and he separated us to the four corners of the earth to be only with our own race. But first he gave each race there own responsibility each was to have one thing to take care of, learn about, cultivate, guard and use to the good.

Then we were all suppose to be able to intermingle again and share this knowledge for the greater good of us all and be able to live together in peace.

The article is ended with this comment.

"The prophecies are always either/or. We could have come together way back there in 1565, and we could have had a great civilization, but we didn't. Always along the path of these prophecies, we could have come together. We still could. If we could stop the racial and religious disharmony, we would not have to go through this third shaking. The elders say the chance of that is pretty slim. It seems to me like it's pretty slim, too. But they say what we can do is we can cushion it so it won't be quite as bad. How do we do this? We do this by sharing the teaching that will reunite us. "

I won't tell you what each race was entrusted with. You'll have to go to the site to read it here: Native American - Indian Prophecy .

I hope you find this read as interesting as I did.

If only each leader of each country would stop and think of this, and realize not only what they are doing to others, but what they are doing to their own people.

I wonder if it would even matter?

Is power the only thing that matters? Is power all consuming?

What good is power if you destroy the land and kill the people.

What will there be, who will there be, left to rule over?

DO YOU REMEMBER HIM

Hacker Gary McKinnon, first arrested in 2002. I remember him well.

"Mr McKinnon is said to have accessed 53 US Army computers, 26 US Navy computers, 16 NASA computers, one US Department of Defense computer and one US Air Force computer. "

You can read the whole story here, 'Hacker fears 'UFO cover-up' . It is an awesome tale.

I first read of Mr. McKinnon on the site of 'Abbas Halai' and it fascinated me, the way he was able to just talk to who ever he wanted to and visit various places in what should have been, to say the least, password protected.

So I went on a quest, to try to find out what happened to him after he was caught and this is what I found.

In February 2006 America was asking the UK to extradite him so that he could be tried in the US. His sentense could be as much as 60 years.

His lawyers want US authorities to give reassurances he will not get a military order and face being sent to Guantanamo Bay with no prospect of parole.

He is asking to be tried in his own country because he feels like he will get a lesser sentence there.

He probably would get a lesser sentence, after all it wasn't his government that was caught with their pants down.
Once again someone has proved how slack and inadequate our own security is. What's it going to take before they step up to the plate and stop being lazy.

I don't think that Mr. McKinnon did anything that any other really good 'brainiac hacker' like him couldn't have done.

I think he should be tried in the US and here is were I open my big mouth and insert my foot as always. Here is my sentence for him.

I think the government should take a lesson from the movie 'Catch Me If You Can' and offer the man a job instead of throwing all of that knowledge away.
Maybe if we had someone like him working for the government this wouldn't have happened in the first place.

The last I heard the UK agreed to the extradition.

Let's celebrate each other for each other's sake!
TO MY GIRLFRIENDS!

It is good to be a woman:
1. We got off the Titanic first.
2. We can scare male bosses with the mysterious gynecological disorder excuses.
3 Taxis stop for us.
4. We don't look like a frog in a blender when dancing.
5. No fashion faux pas we make, could ever rival the Speedo.
6. We don't have to pass gas to amuse ourselves.
7. If we forget to shave, no one has to know.
8. We can congratulate our teammate without ever touching her rear end.
9. We never have to reach down every so often to make sure our privates are still there.
10. We have the ability to dress ourselves.
11. We can talk to the opposite sex without having to picture them naked
12. If we marry someone 20 years younger, we are aware that we will look like an idiot.
13. We will never regret piercing our ears
14. There are times when chocolate really can solve all your problems.
15. We can make comments about how silly men are in their presence because they aren't listening anyway.
Send this to all the bright women you know and make their day!!!!!

If she doesn't wiggle click on her and she will. lol
